It is the Kaiteiban (revision) of the 1997 Eien Densetsu musical, but features quite a few plot, song, and cast changes. In addition to the commerical release of the musical, the senshuuraku (last day) performance was also released. The senshuuraku was only available on VHS for order at during the musical performances and is only available on DVD as a part of the ANZA Memorial Box Set II.
The musical and the senshuuraku performance are both available fansubbed by Cruel Angel productions and on Djen's Myu Distro.
